In the continuation of the upgrade of the services for the athletic citizens of Heraklion who face mobility problems and want to make use of the facilities of the swimming pool of Pankritio Stadium, the receipt of a lift platform that was put into use on Monday 28/9 is included.

The platform is an essential support for those who practicing sports as they are given the opportunity to have freedom of movement with absolute safety, either for recovery or for leisure.

The contribution is great of the lift platform for the elderly, with the descent into the water being a matter of seconds.

Equally important are the technical features, as no hydraulic fluid is used, there is an electrical mechanism, so outflows are avoided.

The machine was delivered with the financial assistance of the Region of Crete, which was thanked by the Deputy Mayor in charge of sports issues.
